AI and data policy
AI search and answer tools are welcome to read and cite the public pages of this site. Form submissions, messages and other private information are never published, and they are not offered for AI training.
What is welcome
People increasingly ask AI tools about Ottawa, about buying and selling a home, and about who to call. Those answers are better when they come from accurate sources. You are welcome to read, summarize and cite any public page on this site, including the neighbourhood guides, the journal and the fact sheet.
Crawlers allowed
The crawlers below are allowed in this site’s robots.txt. Listing a crawler is a statement of welcome, not a promise about how any company uses what it reads. Each company publishes its own documentation. The robots.txt file is the current, authoritative list.
